About the Podcast

Welcome to Faithfully Explore!

Faithfully Explore! is a curiosity-sparking podcast hosted by Laura for kids ages 5–12 and the grown-ups who love learning alongside them.

Each episode invites families, classrooms, and homeschoolers on a warm, wonder-filled journey through world religions, cultures, sacred stories, inspiring people, and big ideas. Through storytelling, sound-rich adventures, movement, games, and playful challenges, kids explore how people around the world celebrate, care for one another, ask big questions, and find meaning.

Along the way, we add new ideas to our Belief Backpacks, such as kindness, courage, forgiveness, justice, compassion, unity, and more. From sacred celebrations and world religions to folktales, philosophy, inspiring heroes, holidays, history, and big ideas, each episode helps children build understanding across differences and discover the many ways people around the world seek meaning, connection, and kindness.

Faithfully Explore! is not about telling kids what to believe. It is about helping them grow into curious, respectful, compassionate global citizens… one story, question, and adventure at a time.

What Our Listeners Are Saying

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I’m a 5th grade teacher, and I just have to say—I love the Faithfully Explore podcast! It’s such a great fit for kids and tweens. I’ve played a couple of episodes for my class, and they were totally into it. The topics are engaging, the messages are positive, and it sparked some really great interest in wanting to know more with the stories, games, and weekly challenges.

What I really appreciate is how the podcast teaches important things like kindness, compassion, and understanding in a way that’s easy for kids to connect with. It encourages them to think, ask questions, and explore theirs and others’ faith in a thoughtful and open way. You can tell Laura truly cares about kids and helping them grow. If you’re a teacher, parent, or anyone who works with kids, I definitely recommend giving it a listen!

I’m a homeschooling parent, and Faithfully Explore! has quickly become one of our favorite parts of the week. Each episode is thoughtful, engaging, and just the right length to keep my kids (ages 6 and 9) totally interested. They love the games and stories. The podcast helps us explore big ideas like kindness, prayer, and different cultures in a way that’s easy for kids to understand but still meaningful.

The printables are a huge bonus—they make learning hands-on and fun, and they fit right into our curriculum. I also really appreciate that each episode includes a book list, and there’s even a recommendation for grown-ups. You can tell Laura puts so much care into every part of this, and my kids truly feel like they know her. Highly recommend for any family that loves to learn together!
